About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform workflow and throughput analysis using time-and-motion studies to identify bottlenecks in vehicle prep, dispatch, and deployment
- Design and apply structured root cause analysis (RCA) frameworks to address recurring operational failures
- Develop measurement frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs to instrument and track operational performance
- Create scalable process templates, including SOP structures, runbooks, and training assessment models
- Identify cross-vertical patterns across Test, Build, Fleet Reliability, and On-Road Deployment to design unified solutions
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean or Six Sigma rigor to operational workflows
Requirements
- BS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable operational analyst role
- Demonstrated application of Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven track record of conducting time-and-motion studies and bottleneck analyses that drive measurable change
- Strong data fluency with experience using spreadsheets and SQL to interpret operational data
- Experience designing measurement frameworks and KPIs for operational teams
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in automotive, robotics, autonomous vehicles, or complex hardware/software operations
- Experience scaling operations from pilot stages through commercial deployment
- Familiarity with fleet operations, vehicle servicing, or test and deployment cycles
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- MS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or Mechanical Engineering
