About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define manufacturing processes and associated equipment for rolling stock products, incorporating lean production principles and Alstom industrial standards.
  • Ensure technical solutions for carbody shell products through simultaneous engineering during specification, development, and implementation phases.
  • Develop macro-processes, assembly sequences, and positioning strategies for carbody manufacturing activities.
  • Manage industrial risks through criticality assessments, process FMEA (AMDEC), ergonomic analyses, and design-for-manufacturing reviews.
  • Identify requirements for manufacturing equipment and tooling, supporting the definition and validation of new technologies.
  • Elaborate detailed industrial specifications using method time analysis, task sequencing, and line balancing for efficient series manufacturing.
  • Participate in project working groups, including design reviews and technical handovers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in process engineering, carbody manufacturing, or welding process qualification.
  • Experience in carbody shell design or tolerancing engineering.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with modeling software such as CATIA or AutoCAD.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of industrial standards within a railway environment (Health & Safety, Ergonomics, Quality, Lean Production).
  • Familiarity with industrial analysis tools and methodologies such as FMEA (AMDEC), QRQC, MTM, and line balancing.
  • Proficiency in additional languages to support international collaboration.
