Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted ultra-high purity carrier gas supply for semiconductor fabrication customers.
• Conduct regular safety, housekeeping, and standard compliance audits to support daily operations.
• Coordinate monthly site maintenance schedules and evaluate maintenance delay justifications.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for site incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Manage Management of Change (MOC) approvals and review Safe Work Permits, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
• Maintain equipment uptime and execute quarterly Out-of-Control Action Plans (OCAP).
• Manage site expenditures within the allocated OPEX budget and identify CAPEX requirements for improvements.
• Optimize supply reliability and plant availability while leading daily handovers and performance audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of process safety risk management tools such as HAZOP and FMEA.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous production optimization.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cryogenic Air Separation Units (ASU) or Steam Methane Reformer (SMR) operations.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma tools.
