About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes
- Provide process engineering expertise from early project phases through qualification and startup
- Ensure compliance with GMP/GxP and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA)
- Develop requirement specifications such as URS and equipment/facility requirements
- Support equipment selection, procurement, and qualification
- Conduct risk analyses including HAZOP
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, validation, automation, HVAC, and project management
Requirements
- Engineering degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering within pharma, MedTech, biotech, or Life Science industries
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
- Competence in process design, scale-up, and optimization
- Experience with validation and technical documentation
- Good understanding of P&ID and process systems
- Experience working in cross-functional project teams
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
