Process Development Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale operational excellence and manufacturing strategies across multiple packaging coatings sites.
• Analyze and optimize plant performance to enhance cost efficiency, safety, quality, throughput, and cycle times.
• Champion global standardization by identifying and implementing best practices across different locations.
• Develop strategic project plans, including process design and engineering scope, serving as a liaison to executive leadership.
• Support new product introductions (NFI) and manage process, formula, or equipment changes through MOC processes.
• Provide PSM and EHS guidance to ensure compliance with reactive chemistry standards and safe product introduction.

Requirements

• Chemical engineering background or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership or management experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of reactive chemistry and paint or chemical processing.
• Proven experience implementing continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or 5S.
• Practical experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a strong asset.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills.
