About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments to develop robust manufacturing processes for cell therapy products
- Develop scalable media and bioreactor processes for cell therapy manufacturing
- Lead projects focused on process development, optimization, and characterization
- Apply statistical tools and Design of Experiments (DOE) to guide process optimization
- Troubleshoot process and equipment-related issues using technical expertise
- Author and review batch records, technical reports, and supporting documentation
- Evaluate novel and emerging technologies to advance project strategies
Requirements
- Experience in large-scale bioprocessing, including operation of 50L and above bioreactors
- Strong background in Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis
- Deep understanding of cell culture processes and bioreactor scale-up principles
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or Biology with 6–8 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 4–6 years, or a PhD with 0–3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
