About the role
Responsibilities
- Generate detailed 3D models including equipment layouts, piping arrangements, and structural models
- Develop technical drawing packages such as PFDs, P&IDs, and isometric piping schematics
- Integrate piping specifications and industrial standards (ASME/ANSI)
- Model standard industrial equipment like pumps, heat exchangers, and distillation columns
- Collaborate with internal R&D and external engineering firms to transition designs to construction
- Manage company CAD standards, component libraries, and drawing archives
- Coordinate with vendors to incorporate dimensional data into master plant models
Requirements
- Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting/Design or related technical diploma
- 1–3 years of industrial drafting and design experience
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Revit
- Foundational knowledge of industrial piping design and process equipment
- Experience managing bill of materials (BOMs) and equipment lists
- Ability to perform spatial field verifications
