About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deploy Basic, Front End, and Detail Process Engineering expertise across projects and operations.
  • Support concept selection, Pre-FEED, and preliminary cost estimation for facility planning.
  • Develop Heat & Material Balances, Process Flow Diagrams, and Design Basis documentation.
  • Lead or participate in technical reviews including P&ID reviews, HAZOP, and 3D Model reviews.
  • Provide technical leadership for projects from concept through commissioning and startup.
  • Ensure compliance with design methods, safety factors, and job specifications for all deliverables.
  • Manage project resource plans, development phase budgets, and contractor performance.
  • Mentor and provide technical oversight to less experienced engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B. Tech) in Chemical Engineering from an AICTE recognized university.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Process Design, Operations, or Technical Services within the Oil and Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical sectors.
  • Proficiency in AspenTech Engineering Suite (including HYSYS and Aspen Capital Cost Estimator).
  • Strong knowledge of HAZOP, risk assessment, and hazard identification techniques.
  • Authorization to work in India.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in planning and executing brownfield modifications and upgrades to existing facilities.
  • Familiarity with AVEVA, Intergraph/Hexagon, or similar engineering suites.
  • Experience with facility monitoring systems such as PI Vision, XHQ, or SEEQ.
  • Proven ability to lead integrated project teams in a virtual or multicultural environment.
