Process Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the design, installation, and continuous improvement of electrical control systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Lead new program implementation, including SOR preparation, controls design, equipment build, and plant installation.
• Coordinate with multiple suppliers to manage deliveries according to program timing milestones.
• Provide technical direction to less experienced controls engineers and suppliers.
• Support existing programs and sites through troubleshooting and electrical controls system design.
• Provide project status reports to senior management and collaborate with various customers and plants.
• Travel up to 40% domestically and internationally as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience as a Process Engineer, Controls Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a related role.
• Proven experience with electrical and control systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming.
• Experience with Ethernet and Devicenet networks.
• Expertise in servo motors, motion control, and drives.
• Proficiency with Siemens and Allen-Bradley systems.
