About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide daily troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for plant process control systems.
- Ensure control system functionality and batch recipes support production, campaign changeovers, and equipment modifications.
- Design, implement, and maintain control system safety requirements based on process safety assessments.
- Manage control system lifecycle activities, including patch management, backups, antivirus, and preventive maintenance.
- Lead process control and system-related activities for capital projects from design through implementation.
- Develop and implement control system modifications to support new products and process improvements.
- Identify and execute process control enhancements to improve manufacturing performance, consistency, and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Safety, Health, and Security (ESHS) policies and promote a strong safety culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree; Chemical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 3+ years of process controls and plant experience with various process control platforms.
- Broad knowledge of control theory, automation configuration, and system architecture design.
- Expertise in alarm management, human interface design, and computer system validation.
- Knowledge of S88 batch standards and batch/continuous production control applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on oral and written communication.
- Exceptional computer skills.
