Process Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide daily troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for plant process control systems.
• Ensure control system functionality and batch recipes support production, campaign changeovers, and equipment modifications.
• Design, implement, and maintain control system safety requirements based on process safety assessments.
• Manage control system lifecycle activities, including patch management, backups, antivirus, and preventive maintenance.
• Lead process control and system-related activities for capital projects from design through implementation.
• Develop and implement control system modifications to support new products and process improvements.
• Identify and execute process control enhancements to improve manufacturing performance, consistency, and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Safety, Health, and Security (ESHS) policies and promote a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree; Chemical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of process controls and plant experience with various process control platforms.
• Broad knowledge of control theory, automation configuration, and system architecture design.
• Expertise in alarm management, human interface design, and computer system validation.
• Knowledge of S88 batch standards and batch/continuous production control applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on oral and written communication.
• Exceptional computer skills.
