Process Control Engineering Specialist III

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement control logic changes on gas and steam turbines
• Audit OEM recommended controls changes and collaborate with OEMs for troubleshooting and data gathering
• Lead informal training sessions for Operations and colleagues regarding logic changes and controls skills
• Provide recommendations on complex project components, tasks, and new processes
• Use independent judgment and in-depth analysis to solve problems of diverse scope
• Prioritize weekly schedules and guide others in completing tasks within defined timelines

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 20 or more years of previous turbine maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency with RSLogix, Ovation, and ABB controls system design
• Experience in network design, programming, and maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• OEM Field Service or Engineering Service experience
• Experience with VMWare ESXi and Cisco IOS
• Ability to read pump curves and size control valves
