Process Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute installation trials to validate assembly processes, tooling, and equipment
• Define, implement, and maintain process control strategies for stable production
• Provide hands-on support to production teams during pre-series builds
• Identify deviations from design or quality requirements and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with battery production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams
• Resolve equipment, tooling, and communication issues to minimize downtime
• Lead structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Analyze production data to identify risks, bottlenecks, and optimization potential
• Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and control plans
• Train and coach production and engineering team members

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in automotive production, pilot builds, or industrialization
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally across production and engineering
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• High proficiency in DFMEA, PFMEA, and control plans
• Experience with metrology equipment and measurement systems
• Strong technical communication skills
