About the role
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data to improve Marine Corps Military Equipment readiness, maintenance quality, and performance
- Interpret and communicate technical manual requirements to the workforce and management
- Analyze and display GCSS-MC and SSDM data to ensure equipment readiness for customer delivery
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis, Corrective, and Preventive Actions for quality non-conformance
- Monitor and update the Quality Management Data Base (eQMS)
- Serve as a liaison to government Quality Assurance Equipment Specialists
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and lead improvement initiatives
- Develop and implement new maintenance management processes and procedures
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 years of USMC Quality Control or Maintenance experience
- Proficiency in navigating GCSS-MC or equivalent systems
- Working knowledge of MCO 4790.2, MCO 4400.150, and GCSS-MC generated reports
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of quality assurance principles
- Knowledge of DOD publications and associated resources
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
- Experience with USMC MOS 0411, 3510, 3529, 2110, 2149, 1341, 1349, 2800 or Army 915, 919, 91X
