Process Contamination Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage semiconductor equipment and perform technical evaluations to monitor and improve wafer fabrication processes.
• Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and enhance workstations.
• Monitor process indicators, such as Statistical Process Control charts and dashboards, to identify and address abnormal conditions.
• Collect, review, and document production data using computer-based systems to support yield and quality.
• Conduct technical experiments and process tests to identify yield and process trends.
• Participate in shift pass-downs and cross-functional communication to ensure production continuity.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and complete required safety training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability for 12-hour shifts (alternating 3-day and 4-day schedules) with flexibility for overtime.
• Ability to wear cleanroom garments and required PPE, such as chemical aprons and face shields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certification, or military training in science, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or cleanroom environments requiring disciplined execution.
• Experience with process monitoring, data interpretation, or Statistical Process Control (SPC) concepts.
