Process and Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned process improvement projects in alignment with site priorities
• Support capital project development and implementation through data analysis
• Serve as first point of contact for diagnosing and troubleshooting site process issues
• Implement corrective actions related to safety and process via MOC process
• Identify performance gaps and implement equipment and process changes
• Create and maintain procedures in accordance with OEM standards
• Manage simultaneous improvement projects using project management skills
• Work closely with maintenance and plant teams to create company-wide solutions
• Contribute to the plant safety program

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 4-7 years of manufacturing experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Willingness to respond to after-hour calls regarding processes and equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in wood or paper industry
• Prior experience with LEAN manufacturing, FMEA, or Process Hazards Analysis
• Experience with Process Control Systems
• Experience analyzing, estimating, and planning capital expenditures
• Familiarity with heavy industrial equipment
• Industrial experience in continuous flow processes
