Process and P&ID Engineer

Responsibilities

• Elaborate and execute the plant's P&ID update program
• Perform field surveys to validate the real condition of equipment, lines, valves, and instrumentation
• Update existing P&IDs to ensure consistency with current installations
• Generate missing P&IDs according to corporate engineering standards
• Verify consistency between P&IDs and the control system database
• Maintain control of revisions, changes, and documentary traceability
• Integrate and update documentation in the official engineering repository
• Deliver drawings in authorized AutoCAD and PDF formats
• Support Process Safety activities through reliable technical documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the creation, update, or management of P&IDs in industrial plants
• Experience in field surveys and generating "as-built" documentation
• Knowledge of instrumentation, process equipment, and control systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD P&ID, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar tools
• Knowledge of engineering documentation standards such as ISA S5.1 and ISO 10628
• Experience in technical document control and revision management
• Intermediate English level for reading technical documentation and basic workplace communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Process Safety environments or process security
