Process and Materials Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D studies and manage daily pilot plant operations in accordance with project specifications
• Design, assemble, and set up test benches required for experimental realization
• Execute process test plans in laboratory and prototype settings, including risk assessment and protocol establishment
• Perform sampling, preparation, and characterization of materials within the "Materials Science and Engineering" pole
• Interpret analytical results and propose performance improvements
• Draft technical reports, synthesis notes, and presentations in both French and English
• Provide operational support for industrial-scale solution validation and deployment
• Travel to industrial sites in France and internationally (1 to 4 weeks per mission) for trials and audits

Requirements

• Bac +II / Bac +III degree (BTS, BUT, or Professional License) in Process Engineering, Materials Science, Physico-chemistry, or related technical fields
• 5 to 10 years of experience in R&D, specifically including pilot plant operation, is preferred
• Operational proficiency in English
• Strong data processing and technical writing skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the valorization of solid materials
• Expertise in troubleshooting and creative problem-solving in a laboratory or industrial environment
