Process and Application Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and adapt innovative thin-film coating solutions for specific client applications
• Define treatment processes for new applications and ensure transfer to production
• Lead the validation of new solutions with clients and the quality department
• Organize sampling for non-standard applications in coordination with the sales department
• Monitor costs, deadlines, and project progress through to production launch
• Provide technical advice and support to clients and internal teams (CSC, sales, operations, quality)
• Coordinate exchanges with the Global CSC and contribute to international projects
• Collaborate with R&D, equipment engineering, and production technology
• Perform technological monitoring in the field of thin films

Requirements

• Degree in materials science, surface treatment, or mechanical engineering
• Minimum 3 years of industrial experience for engineers (or 10 years for technicians)
• B2 level of English (oral and written)
• Experience in industrial sectors subject to high-quality certifications
• Experience in teamwork or small team management
• Knowledge of mechanical design (CAD)
• Affinity for manual work
