Problem Solving Expert-PPAC

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage the analysis and follow-up of PPAC issues to ensure effective resolution.
• Monitor PPAC issue status and interface with the PPAC committee and safety representatives.
• Identify operational, technical, or business problems and conduct root-cause analysis using structured methods such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and Pareto.
• Evaluate alternative solutions, assess potential risks, and implement improvements monitored through KPIs.
• Lead structured problem-solving workshops using A3, DMAIC, and PDCA methodologies.
• Drive Lean or Six Sigma initiatives to achieve measurable process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Train teams in problem-solving methodologies and develop process documentation and improvement plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive, Military, or Aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions under uncertainty.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, specifically Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ CQE certification.
• Demonstrated skillset in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
