Probation Compliance Clerk

Responsibilities

• Enter, update, retrieve, and process data from software systems according to statutory guidelines and established procedures.
• Coordinate compliance hearings to ensure adherence to Washington State codes and statutory requirements for due process.
• Notify litigants and involved parties of hearing outcomes and initiate future hearings or bench warrants as required.
• Assist the public via phone, correspondence, or in-person regarding court and probation requirements and laws.
• Support probation staff during intakes, interviews, and hearings.
• Monitor cases for monthly compliance or non-compliance and prepare necessary docket entries.
• Report required information to the Department of Licensing in accordance with statute.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of general office experience in a court or legal environment, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive and/or confidential information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish.
