Private Swim Instructor

Responsibilities

• Conduct 30-minute private (1:1) and semi-private (1:2) swim lessons customized to individual needs and goals
• Promote and sell swim lesson packages to clients
• Maintain a teaching schedule of at least 5 hours per week
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for swimmers of all abilities
• Track swimmer progress and provide updates to clients
• Emphasize water safety and encourage the development of strong swimming skills

Requirements

• Certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and Swim Instruction (Red Cross or equivalent)
• Proven experience in teaching private and semi-private swim lessons
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and organized with ability to manage a flexible schedule

Benefits

• $30–$35 per hour, based on experience
