About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage all operational aspects of launching and closing CLO warehouses, including funding requests, asset transfers, and coordinating closings with trustees and clients.
  • Analyze and interpret CLO indentures to validate compliance testing and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Perform detailed reconciliations of CLO portfolio cash, holdings, and asset attributes to the CLO trustee.
  • Support CLO accounting activities, including monitoring expense invoices, calculating management/trustee fees, and analyzing waterfalls and cash flow distributions.
  • Prepare client reports and respond to inquiries from investment managers and clients in a timely manner.
  • Drive process improvements through automation and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and oversee junior Portfolio Analysts in their execution of CLO responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of practical experience in CLO asset classes and Custodial/Trustee service requirements.
  • Extensive experience with the operational processes involved in launching and closing CLO warehouses.
  • Proven experience preparing accurate and timely reports, analyses, and presentations for management and clients.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of WSO systems (Administrator, Reporting, Compliance, Integration Utility).
  • Experience with S&P Global platforms (Markit Pricing, Notice Manager, ADFlow).
  • Familiarity with BlackRock’s Aladdin tool.
  • Proficiency in data analysis or automation tools such as Python, Power BI, or JIRA.
  • Experience with syndicated bank loan LSTA trade and settlement documentation and the Clearpar Platform.
  • Progress toward an advanced degree or industry designation such as CFA or CPA.
