Private Finance Operations Senior Associate (Financial and Data Analyst)

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve the FP&A framework by enhancing financial modeling and conducting sustainability analysis.
• Support the CFO in monitoring multisource funding models, including liquidity, capital, and cash flow projections.
• Conduct financial analyses related to donor contributions, capitalization options, and governance metrics.
• Integrate and manage financial data from multiple systems including SAP, Salesforce, and various databases.
• Coordinate with finance, risk, legal, and investment teams to support strategic business reviews.
• Produce high-quality financial presentations, dashboards, and reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Contribute to corporate initiatives such as process automation, data governance, and AI-enabled analytics.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, data analytics, risk management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial risk management.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Experience with data management tools such as SAP, Salesforce, SQL, Power BI, or advanced Excel.
• Citizenship of one of the 48 IDB member countries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM.
• Experience working with multilateral development financial institutions.
• Familiarity with markets in Latin America and the Caribbean.
• Knowledge of cloud-based planning platforms like SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Proficiency in French or Portuguese.
