Private Equity Fund Administration Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain books and records for Private Equity funds and GP vehicles in accordance with governing documents
• Prepare and review periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAV), financial statements, and management fee/carried interest calculations
• Manage capital call and distribution calculations, including investor notices and reconciliation of payments
• Oversee the release of capital notices and quarterly reporting via investor portals
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage client expectations and ensure adherence to SLA timelines
• Adhere to internal control frameworks, policies, and procedures
• Manage year-end processes and coordinate with external auditors and tax teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a Big 4 firm, PE firm, or fund administrator
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP for Investment Funds and familiarity with Private Equity fund structures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and high attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accounting designation (CA, CPA)
• Experience using Investran or similar integrated Private Equity accounting systems
