Private Equity Fund Accounting VP

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of financial professionals delivering accounting and administrative services for alternative investment client relationships
• Oversee income allocation, management and incentive fee determinations, and capital events such as calls and distributions
• Responsible for portfolio and fund-level accounting, including the review and approval of monthly or quarterly NAV reporting
• Lead the onboarding of existing client funds and the launch of new funds
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and high standards of client satisfaction
• Design technology solutions to address complex reporting and data requirements
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff to reach their full potential

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 10+ years of Private Equity experience
• Knowledge of alternative investment asset classes and complex fund structures
• Experience with fee calculations and waterfall provisions
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA qualification
• Experience with Investran or Geneva software
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
