Private Equity Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting, audit, and reporting functions for a portfolio of closed-ended and semi-closed ended private equity and debt funds
• Oversee LP/investor capital calls, distributions, investor financial reports, and capital statements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders through excellent service delivery
• Execute control frameworks through high-quality checklists, procedure production, and partnership with internal audit functions
• Design and implement solutions to eliminate manual processes and reduce operational risk
• Escalate successes and issues to Senior Management in a timely manner

Requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant, or proven accounting experience with exposure to US/Lux/UK GAAP and IFRS
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively under tight reporting deadlines
• Proactive attitude with strong organization and planning skills
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability in managing end-to-end client relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Private Equity fund administration or the alternatives funds industry
• Data literacy with an understanding of the data chain in private market structures
• Proficiency in Alteryx is a distinct advantage
• Knowledge of FIS Investran, Arcesium, or equivalent double-entry accounting platforms
