Private Equity Analyst

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment to source, screen, and conduct due diligence on private equity fund managers, co-investments, and secondaries
• Perform quantitative and qualitative research and financial modeling on companies and assets
• Interact with fund managers and portfolio company management teams for underwriting and analysis
• Analyze PPMs, financial statements, and investment returns
• Conduct reference calls as part of manager and asset due diligence
• Perform market research to identify and analyze macroeconomic trends
• Prepare due diligence materials and Investment Committee memos
• Present recommendations to the investment team and the Firm’s Investment Committee
• Monitor the performance of the Firm’s existing investments

Requirements

• 1 year of investment banking, consulting, and/or private equity experience
• GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Excellent quantitative, financial modeling, and valuation skills
• Strong understanding of risk/reward trade-offs and investment judgment
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work legally in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
