Private Client Banker

Responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and solutions to clients with up to $2M in investable assets using a plan-based approach.
• Assess client financial needs, gather data, and offer appropriate products and services to improve financial wellness.
• Identify opportunities to refer clients to specialized partners in Mortgage, Business Banking, Private Bank, or Key Investment Services.
• Build a client referral pipeline by developing internal and external centers of influence and employing disciplined prospecting.
• Open personal and business accounts, including consumer checking, small business, and various deposit products.
• Maintain compliance with all operational, risk, security, and audit procedures.
• Support branch operations, including assisting with client transactions on the teller line as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in developing customer relationships and achieving sales goals in insurance or investment products.
• Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques, including prospecting and networking.
• FINRA Series 6, Series 63, and SIE certifications required upon hire.
• Life and Health Insurance Licenses required upon hire.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital technology platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience interacting with small business clients and overcoming objections.
• Demonstrated experience influencing business partners and leveraging professional networks.
