Private Client Associate Intern

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with clients and prospects
• Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail
• Respond to client inquiries regarding account transactions, tax receipts, and reporting
• Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding and the maintenance of existing accounts
• Ensure accurate and timely updates of documentation in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Support the Advisor team through the Wealth Management process and maintain activity audits
• Conduct research and provide support on assigned projects

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
• High level of time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide professional, warm, and friendly client service
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Must be returning to school after the work term or require the term as a mandatory component for graduation

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
• Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
• Previous experience in the securities industry
