Private Chef/Cook - Multi-Cuisine Vegetarian Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and beverages daily
• Design diverse weekly and seasonal vegetarian menus
• Prepare authentic and contemporary dishes across multiple cuisines including Indian, Italian, Japanese, and Mediterranean
• Cater for family gatherings, private dinners, and special occasions
• Maintain exceptional food presentation and plating standards
• Manage ingredient sourcing, inventory, and stock rotation
• Ensure the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas remain spotless and organized
• Follow the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation
• Accommodate specific dietary preferences, allergies, and nutritional requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a private chef, executive chef, or chef in luxury residences or fine dining
• Proven expertise in high-quality vegetarian cooking
• Proficiency in multiple cuisines (e.g., North/South Indian, Gujarati, Jain, Italian, Japanese, Thai, or Continental)
• Fluent English (proficiency in Hindi and Gujarati is a plus)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Professional and discreet personality

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional culinary qualification or hospitality degree
• HACCP or Food Safety Certification
• Experience working in VIP households
• Knowledge of nutrition and healthy meal planning
