Private Banker

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and retain relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) clients connected to the Latin America region.
• Grow Assets Under Management (AUM) through new client acquisition and increasing share of wallet.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating with investment, credit, and wealth planning teams.
• Partner with Investment Advisors to deliver customized investment and advisory solutions.
• Identify cross-border banking, lending, and investment needs using Santander’s global platform.
• Ensure all client activity complies with KYC, AML, suitability, and cross-border regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven track record of managing a book of HNW clients across Latin American countries.
• Demonstrated success meeting AUM, net new money, and client acquisition targets.
• Strong knowledge of investments, wealth planning, credit, lending, and risk management.
• Experience managing complex international wealth needs and cross-border clients.
• Deep understanding of KYC, AML, and cross-border regulatory frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency or professional proficiency in Portuguese.
• Conversational Spanish skills.
• An existing network of HNW or UHNW relationships within the Latin America region.
