Private Banker

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with clients by earning trust and providing targeted advice to meet their unique needs.
• Generate business results and acquire new assets through both existing client bases and new client acquisition.
• Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit, and banking needs.
• Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise and connect clients across all lines of business within J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
• Ensure proposed solutions fulfill client objectives through a holistic, goals-based planning approach.
• Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures.

Requirements

• 15+ years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Series 7, 66, and Insurance licenses required (unlicensed candidates must obtain these within 90 days of start date).
• Proven sales success and strong business acumen.
• Strong community presence with an established professional network.
• Demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit, and banking concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, JD, CFA, or CFP designation.
• In-depth knowledge of equity and fixed income markets and alternative investments (Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Real Estate).
• Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to communicate with clarity and credibility.
• Highly organized and disciplined approach to business management.
