Private Bank International Financial Crime Risk Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assess the integrity and effectiveness of the bank's internal control framework to mitigate financial, operational, and reputational risk.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to improve control effectiveness through detailed documentation of assessments and findings.
• Identify and investigate potential weaknesses within internal controls to promote continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
• Develop reports to communicate key findings, control weaknesses, and recommendations to senior management and control owners.
• Execute reviews to ensure the internal controls framework aligns with evolving policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Support the Front Office throughout the client lifecycle, with a specific focus on periodic reviews and risk management.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Financial Crime or Risk and Controls.
• Direct professional experience working in Geneva.
• In-depth knowledge of Swiss financial rules and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across all corporate grades.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and French.
• Specific business knowledge within Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Relevant professional external qualifications.
