Private Asset Market Risk Modeler, Vice President, Aladdin Financial Engineering

Responsibilities

• Own the data domain for portfolio risk models, ensuring high standards of data quality, accuracy, and usability.
• Design and implement scalable data validation rules and quality control (QC) frameworks.
• Partner with modeling, engineering, and upstream data teams to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
• Lead the onboarding and evaluation of new datasets, including structured and unstructured sources.
• Establish monitoring for both input and derived model data, such as factor exposures and covariance matrices.
• Drive resolution of data issues across global, cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience supporting data in quantitative modeling, risk, or analytics environments.
• Strong familiarity with global fixed income and/or equity datasets.
• Deep understanding of the data lifecycle, QC frameworks, and validation processes.
• Proficiency in prototyping and validating data logic using Python or SQL.
• Proven experience driving complex data initiatives across multiple teams and workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a high degree of ownership.
