Privacy Manager

Responsibilities

• Run privacy request operations end-to-end and serve as the Data Protection Officer where required by law
• Lead the preparation and submission of mandatory data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and privacy risk assessments (PRAs)
• Partner with the Legal Department to build and maintain core privacy program governance
• Oversee vendor and procurement privacy processes
• Support personal data incident handling and provide continuous improvement through metrics
• Maintain the Record of Processing Activities (ROPA) to ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and running a privacy program with hands-on operational responsibility
• Working knowledge of global privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, and PIPEDA
• Strong technical fluency in systems, data flows, access control, and logging
• Proven ability to translate legal requirements into operational controls
• Experience managing ROPA and conducting DPIAs
• Excellent documentation discipline for audit-ready records

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience formally serving as a Data Protection Officer (DPO)
• Experience in financial services, payments, custody, or other highly regulated environments
• Experience building privacy workflows within ticketing and documentation systems
