Privacy Manager

Responsibilities

• Run privacy request operations end-to-end and serve as the Data Protection Officer where required by law
• Lead the preparation and submission of mandatory data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and privacy risk assessments (PRAs)
• Partner with the Legal Department to build and maintain core privacy program governance
• Oversee the formal creation and maintenance of the Record of Processing Activities (ROPA)
• Manage vendor and procurement privacy reviews and support personal data incidents
• Develop executive-ready metrics to track program performance and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and running a privacy program with hands-on operational responsibility
• Proven ability to operate as a high-autonomy individual contributor in a lean environment
• Strong experience translating legal requirements into practical operational controls
• Deep knowledge of global privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, GLBA, LGPD, and PIPEDA
• Technical fluency in systems, data flows, access control concepts, and incident handling
• Excellent writing and documentation discipline for regulator-ready and audit-ready records

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience formally serving as a Data Protection Officer (DPO)
• Experience in financial services, payments, custody, or other highly regulated industries
• Experience building privacy workflows within ticketing and documentation systems
