Responsibilities

• Maintain and update global privacy policies, notices, and internal frameworks for global business units
• Implement privacy-by-design and responsible AI principles into product lifecycles
• Provide legal guidance on cross-border data transfers and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
• Draft, negotiate, and review Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and privacy provisions in commercial agreements
• Investigate potential data/cybersecurity incidents and manage regulatory notification obligations
• Design and deliver privacy and AI awareness training across global offices
• Track emerging privacy and AI laws such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and the EU AI Act
• Collaborate and coordinate with outside counsel across various jurisdictions

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in the U.S., Hong Kong, Singapore, UK and/or Canada
• 4 to 8 years of legal practice focused on privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity
• Experience in major law firms and/or in-house corporate environments
• Understanding of data flows, cloud computing, and modern IT architecture
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese

Preferred Qualifications

• CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPM designations
• Experience in the interactive entertainment industry
• Ability to translate complex legal requirements into actionable business advice
