Privacy & Commercial Counsel

Responsibilities

• Run GDPR compliance operations, including data subject requests and maintaining documentation like DPAs and privacy policies
• Embed privacy and security compliance into product development and work with ML and tech teams
• Monitor global privacy regulations and brief relevant teams on impacts
• Own commercial contracting, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating sales agreements
• Support the Head of Legal with trademark registrations, corporate, and labor matters

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of legal experience in data protection or privacy
• Experience in a tech-focused law firm or as in-house counsel at a SaaS company
• Proficiency in drafting compliance documentation (DPAs, DPIAs, LIAs)
• Ability to independently manage and negotiate commercial and sales contracts
• Master's degree in law
• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams (ML, infrastructure, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bar admission
• Familiarity with AI technologies and the EU AI Act
