Responsibilities

• Support installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of battery systems
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems to determine root cause
• Execute software and firmware upgrades and networking system configuration
• Execute commissioning and test plans to characterize performance and functionality
• Support emergency response at project sites to minimize plant downtime
• Lead performance testing, attain data, and document results to improve product performance
• Maintain company tools, vehicles, equipment, and instrumentation

Requirements

• 7+ years of advanced technical field experience with high-powered equipment
• Expertise in complex systems integration and high-voltage troubleshooting
• Proficiency in industrial communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, Ethernet)
• Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings
• Proficiency operating high-voltage instrumentation
• Uncompromising safety mindset and experience in heavy construction environments
• Ability to wear heavy PPE (CAT 2/4, chemical suits, etc.)
• Ability to travel domestically up to 90%
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with utility-scale energy storage systems
• Experience with mechanical subsystems like pumps, tanks, and piping
