Principal/Sr Principal Engineer, Application Engineering

Responsibilities

• Understand vehicle E/E architecture evolution and its impact on MCU
• Analyze Software/Hardware tradeoffs
• Drive thought leadership of innovative concepts disrupting the market
• Build and maintain technical relationships with key architects at OEMs and Tier Ones
• Follow market and technology trends to predict product changes
• Work closely with Marketing, product managers, and engineers to ensure system needs are met

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar
• Strong understanding of automotive applications (Electrification or Vehicle E/E architecture)
• High level of experience in microcontroller/microprocessor architectures
• Experience with network interfaces such as Ethernet and CAN
• Understanding of software needs for AutoSAR related applications
• Strong customer engagement experience with Automotive Tier1 or OEMs
• Ability to work at the system-level regarding hardware and software partitioning
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel worldwide
