Principal Trader

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue through the development, accurate execution, and booking of trades and orders on a principal basis.
• Develop and contribute to regional and global quantitative models to drive the CRB business.
• Facilitate client order flow by providing liquidity via proprietary inventory or accessing third-party external offerings.
• Proactively monitor market developments and trading opportunities to identify new strategies.
• Manage a broad range of risks, including trading, execution, operational, compliance, and conduct risk.
• Adhere to all applicable regulations, internal policies, and standards of market conduct, including best execution and Volcker rules.

Requirements

• Experience trading Asian markets, specifically Hong Kong, China (QFII/MMA), Taiwan, or South Korea.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and modify complex mathematical models based on market dynamics.
• Proven experience in risk/factor models, optimization techniques, and statistical arbitrage strategies.
• Experience developing and running backtesting frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages used for translating ideas into trading strategies, such as kdb/q, Python, or Rust.
