Principal Tooling Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage the execution of complex tooling and equipment projects from concept through qualification
• Develop and manage specifications and lead design review processes
• Guide part design and development efforts to ensure manufacturing excellence
• Manage gate closure within the gated management process and ensure delivery of all project deliverables
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to solve technical problems
• Mentor team members and provide training to support professional development

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional engineering experience in tooling, mold engineering, or plastics manufacturing
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant tooling certification
• Lean Leader certification and experience with Six Sigma/Lean methodologies
• RJG certified instructor
• Proficiency in applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to drawing reviews
• Hands-on expertise in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
