Principal Test Architect

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of test strategies for critical program production efforts and define progress metrics
• Facilitate the transition between Engineering Development and Production Test Program Phases to optimize assembly and test solutions
• Define and optimize test environments and requirements to ensure on-time deliveries
• Coordinate with internal and external organizations, including Program Managers and Engineering leadership, on test strategy and execution
• Interface with the customer community to share test status, address issues, and manage programmatic concerns
• Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) knowledge to inform integration and test strategies
• Mentor junior Integration and Test engineers on their performance and duties

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience
• Proven experience in Integration and Testing
• Active and transferable US government-issued security clearance (Secret)
• US citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with customers to develop program integration and test strategies
• Experience with platform integration and testing for surface ships or land-based missile systems
• Background in production line testing and statistical analysis for testing optimization
• Ability to enroll in the Raytheon Test Architect Development Program
