Principal Test and Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and coach an experienced team of NFR test engineers
• Resolve technical issues identified during NFR testing of production arrays
• Act as a key interface between HWIC Operations and HWIC Test Engineering
• Drive continuous improvement to improve cycle time and reduce costs using CORE principles
• Manage staffing and shift schedules for test engineers across NFRs
• Interface with Design and Test Development teams to solve production-impacting issues
• Assist manufacturing test operators with hardware testing and troubleshooting
• Lead test data reviews with customers and participate in daily tier level meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
• At least 3 years of experience in test or integration roles
• Active and transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance required on day 1
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading a team within a production environment
• Background in Antenna or Radar test and analysis
• Experience with the integration and testing of developed hardware
• Hands-on experience with microwave testing techniques, including Spectrum and Network Analyzers
• Proficiency with Matlab and/or Excel for complex RF calculations and data analysis
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
