About the Company

STR is a growing technology company specializing in advanced research and development for defense, intelligence, and national security. We focus on cyber, next-generation sensors, radar, sonar, communications, electronic warfare, and AI algorithms to solve complex national security problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead continued development of relevant technology products
• Lead a portfolio of research and development programs focused on advanced algorithm and software solutions
• Manage all program phases from marketing and business capture to contract execution
• Work closely with Government customers, support organizations, and transition partners
• Manage large technical projects, WBS definition, and resource management
• Lead and manage multi-discipline teams and mentor less experienced staff

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• U.S. citizenship required
• MS with 15+ years of experience or PhD with 8+ years of experience in a scientific field (applied math, physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or data science)
• Experience managing large technical projects and resource management
• Experience in new business development, outreach, capture flow, and proposal writing
• Proven experience leading multi-discipline teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Space Systems and intelligence products
• Working knowledge of DoD and IC missions and acquisition processes
• Ability to manage multiple, technically diverse programs simultaneously
• Entrepreneurial spirit for technical marketing and business development
