Principal Technical Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement world-class recruitment strategies for complex technical roles including Software Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, and DevOps.
• Build long-term relationships with top technical talent in the Austin and wider US markets.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on talent mapping, competitor analysis, and compensation benchmarking.
• Innovate sourcing techniques and pilot advanced tools or automated workflows to attract top professionals.
• Collaborate with Employer Brand and Marketing teams to execute recruitment campaigns targeting technical communities.
• Utilize data to identify hiring challenges and optimize processes for global scalability.
• Mentor or manage junior recruiters and sourcers to help develop their skills and careers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of in-house recruiting experience with a proven track record in technical recruitment.
• Deep expertise in sourcing for product and engineering roles.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• A tech-forward mindset with an interest in using emerging HR technologies and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to evaluate candidates for both technical excellence and cultural alignment.
