About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional Integrated Product Team in developing next-generation Tactical Communications from concept through full-scale production
- Manage product development efforts and participate in the full systems development lifecycle, including design, requirements definition, and verification testing
- Manage program schedule and cost performance (SPI/CPI) for medium-sized programs and assist in generating the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines to execute program milestones and facilitate customer demonstration events
- Lead bid and proposal efforts and present technical and program data to customers and executive leadership
- Interface with external customers and manage program requirements from early-stage concepts through accreditation
Requirements
- STEM degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience (or an Advanced Degree and minimum 5 years of experience)
- 2+ years of experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, and integration
- 1+ years of proven leadership of large-scale programs using project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, SAFe Agile)
- Proficiency with financial tools such as Earned Value Management (EVM)
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical data to executive leadership
- Prior experience in a space-related or aerospace engineering environment
