About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end customer problem by defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Commerce Personalization across all Prime Video surfaces.
- Build coordinated intelligence systems to ensure personalized commerce interactions, such as ensuring declined offers stay declined and respecting customer journey stages.
- Partner with Applied Science and ML Engineering teams to implement reinforcement learning, multi-objective optimization, and unified customer representations.
- Drive organizational alignment by working with multiple teams to optimize shared customer outcomes over local metrics.
- Ship high-impact features continuously, using measurable results to prove impact on engagement and business growth.
Requirements
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Proven track record in technical product management, program management, or engineering.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery and managing feature tradeoffs.
- Experience leading engineering discussions regarding technology decisions and product strategy.
- Experience working effectively with science, data processing, and software engineering teams.
- Experience in designing experiments and performing statistical analysis of results.
- Experience owning and delivering end-to-end product strategy for ML/AI-powered consumer products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving direction and alignment across complex, cross-functional teams.
- Experience with subscription or commerce business models and LTV-based decision making.
- Familiarity with reinforcement learning, multi-armed bandits, or multi-objective optimization applied to personalization.
- Track record of shipping products that changed customer behavior at scale (100M+ users).
- Experience with experimentation design, causal inference, and long-term holdout measurement.
