About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end EHS data management engagements, including defining scope, managing budgets, and coordinating technical teams.
- Drive agile workflows, including sprint planning and stand-ups, across data and analytics workstreams.
- Design scalable data structures and administer EHS datasets throughout their full lifecycle to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Build automated reporting solutions and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to surface performance trends.
- Develop simulation and optimization models to improve environmental, health, and safety program outcomes.
- Use SQL and Python to automate workflows and enhance data accessibility.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership, presenting findings and developing strategic data management proposals.
- Mentor junior analysts and technical staff to foster a high-performance team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, IT, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 6+ years of experience in data architecture, information systems, or analytics leadership.
- Proven success managing cross-functional data programs in a consulting or enterprise environment.
- Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and sprint-based delivery models.
- Proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI for data storytelling and dashboard development.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data querying and automation.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days onsite in Santa Clara County.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with EHS data management platforms such as EQuIS.
- Experience with Salesforce, BusinessObjects, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Exposure to CRISP-DM, process mining, or decision modeling.
