Principal Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Define and develop high-level architectural and business solutions for complex distributed systems
• Translate business needs into scalable, working technical solutions
• Lead technical decision-making processes to ensure alignment with global business goals
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to build maintainable systems
• Establish technical best practices, standards, and guidelines across the organization
• Create and maintain technical roadmaps that align with long-term business strategy
• Identify and mitigate risks regarding technology adoption and implementation
• Oversee the successful deployment of complex products, focusing on reliability, performance, and security
• Provide mentorship to software engineers and assist in complex technical problem-solving
• Take ownership of specific Finance processes and support the deployment of SAP Global Templates

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise software engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in a Technical Architect role
• At least 2 years of experience with recurring business models and related technologies
• Proven experience building and supporting highly available distributed systems
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead discussions with executives
• Demonstrated experience in a technology-driven organization managing the full project lifecycle
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions in business terms

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong process knowledge of Recurring Business Models and Finance
• Experience within the distribution industry
